Patong Nightlife
Patong Beach is the epicentre of nightlife on Phuket. It has a thriving entertainment scene ranging from upmarket cocktail lounges, nightclubs and pubs right through to the infamous beer bars and go-go bars.

The most plentiful bars in Patong are the beer bars - squashed in next to each other, overflowing with Thai girls calling out to tourists as they walk by – hello, welcome! The girls are generally friendly, fun and a little too good at bar games like Connect-Four! These bars have a casual atmosphere, and masses of them can be found on the Bangla Road and its side streets.

If you harbor a fascination for Thailand 's notorious go-go bars, then head for Soi Sea Dragon, off the Bangla Road . Here you will find bars like Showgirls, Playschool and Lipstick, where bikini-clad Thai girls parade around onstage to music, with intermittent pole dancing and strip shows.

Another stream of entertainment is the live music bars like Rock City and the Banana Club, featuring cover bands and tribute bands to rock Patong Beach with all the classic hits. If you're really ready to party, there are several high-energy nightclubs with heaving dance floors and pumping music, such as Tiger Disco or Banana Disco. The nightlife at Karon Beach is a step away from the booming scene at Patong Beach . The main areas for nightlife are Luang Poh Chuan Road and Aroona Karon, with their fair share of beer bars, conventional pubs and restaurants. It's a pleasant area for dinner and drinks, as it has a laid-back atmosphere.

Kata Beach Nightlife
Kata Beach offers a relaxing evening in Kata Village with outdoor cafes, casual bars and local restaurants. The small streets have limited over-development, so the atmosphere is very cosy.
